Boho Beach House: Seaside Living Room
Before I start in on this amazing living room glow-up, I suggest tuning into my last couple posts on this project The Process and B&W Master Bedroom, for some context! The posts following this one will feature the details of every other room in the house.
BEFORE
These photos were from before the renovation-there was new flooring and a fresh coat of paint when I arrived!
The photos are from after the renovation, but right when I arrived at the house, ready to get to work.
The living room is a large open-concept space in the back of the house, sandwiched between the kitchen and enclosed sunroom. With high ceilings and bright light from the sunroom, the room feels large and needed to be filled with new items, including a rug, coffee table, TV console, wall decor and lamps.
AFTER
The first item I found for this room was the woven rug. On the same day, I snagged the large white frames with the intention of creating custom water colors for the clients. Next I started to fill in with other decor accents, like the cream wall weave (similar here), embroidered pouf (similar here), beachy pillows (similar here and here), and blanket basket (similar here).
In the end, some of the most exciting finds for this room were the coffee table and TV console which I found after scouring multiple Homegoods! We finally hit the jackpot and I couldn’t be more pleased with how the whole room came out. Similar console linked here and similar coffee table linked here!
