An Epic Game Room Mural
While working with Seri (owner of Little Miss Party) on her new home in Florida, I knew she was going to be excited to run wild with colors and patterns. Seri has always loved the bold and the beautiful and this new house was the perfect excuse to make something truly unique. Alongside Lisa of Abaca Interiors, we worked as a team to make decisions about each room, and the game room is one we all became excited about.
As the house was coming together so quickly, we had to make fast decisions. Only a few days before, we landed on this geometric mural incorporating colors from various decor pieces Seri already owned plus the colors in Luke’s bedroom, which is right next door and can be seen through the doorway. You can watch a little of the process here!
The bold pops of orange and yellow against cool blues, black, and white makes the room vibrate with excitement. It couldn’t be more perfect for Seri’s lively boys. Seri pulled it all together with an awesome air hockey table and a mini fridge so the kids can really entertain their friends by themselves.
The last time I was in Florida, Seri and I also made sure to create the design for the gallery wall, which included a couple pieces she already owned plus 2 multi-photo frames with pictures of the boys. Finally, we filled an old black frame with excess wallpaper used in the downstairs. A great way to use the extra wallpaper with such a beautiful pattern!
Coolest game room on the block?! I think so!
