Woodland Forest Nursery Mural

Abby and Lewis came to me with a specific vision in mind and we had such fun bringing it to life. Their beautiful home outside of Boston, MA, has an upstairs with unusual ceilings and beautiful skylights.

Abby and Lewis knew they wanted a woodland theme for the nursery that could play off the existing structure so we focused on the area where the crib would be placed as well as a skylight off to the left.

I created layers of trees in different tones to create depth, and we even painted the door to their attic storage area. While normally I don’t recommend painting doors and trims, Abby and Lewis specifically requested having the seamless look. We opted to wrap the entire scene around the room. They know that in a few years down the line, they will be doing a full demo renovation on the back half of the house, so they were more focused on having as much fun as possible with the space.
