A Gramercy Apartment Gallery Wall
I’ve worked with many clients since starting Nestia on planning gallery walls. I love the personal touch a gallery wall can bring. From collecting pieces through travel to family heirlooms, a gallery of artwork on a wall in your home can create a truly special element of decor.
When my client Kate came to me with a box full of artwork, gifted to her by her mother, she didn’t know where to start. She needed to know which pieces to use, how to arrange them, and most importantly, she needed everything hung up! See below for her “before” images. What a transformation!
That’s where I stepped in. You might have seen this time lapse video on my Instagram reels. Kate’s project was one I knew I needed to work on in person. I was able to work with the artwork in person, use the pieces I knew would work best together, eliminate the ones that didn’t fit, lay them out on the ground as a test, and ultimately hang them all up once Kate was satisfied with the design.
To make matters better, every piece was light enough to be hung up using damage-free command strips by 3M. As a renter in NYC, I know the struggle of wanting to keep your walls as in-tact as possible. Kate was so satisfied with how everything came out, and especially because every piece was special to her and her family.
